Downtown Conroe will soon be the place for a family fun day called Kidzfest.
No doubt being promoted through poster printing, the event will be free and organizers promise that there will be something for everyone. More than 15,000 attendees are expected.
The community is coming together to bring Conroe children and their families a day consisting of activity villages, fun booths, and live entertainment. There will be train rides, inflatables, and water activities. Food vendors will be selling their wares, and kids will be getting their faces painted.
Those who participate in the activity village and in the fun booths will be local businesses and organizations that will be providing either an interactive activity or a child-oriented display. Many will be distributing Flyers describing their purposes, programs or products. Some will also be handing out give-aways. Similar booths by the Conroe Downtown Area businesses will also be providing activities for children and handing out flyers and freebies. Retail booths will be selling everything imaginable for children.
Taking place on Saturday, April 30, the event will start at 10:00 am and go until 5:00 pm. Although admission will be free, guests will want to bring cash for food, beverages, and items from the retail booths.
