The 57th Annual Montgomery County Fair will light up Conroe next month, presenting one of the most anticipated small fairs in Texas.
The event brings a rodeo, BBQ, and fair to the community. The Montgomery County Fair Association is supported by more than 600 volunteers. The group is a nonprofit entity supporting the youth in the county.
The family friendly event offers games, educational exhibits, and a carnival, along with the rodeo. The event is spread out over 10 days and allows children to display projects for the public.
Scholarships are awarded by the Montgomery County Fair Association each year. The scholarships can be awarded to students participating with projects, as well as those who are not in the display.
The scholarship program began in 1993 and has awarded more than $1.5m in college scholarships.
