Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 38th Annual Lobster Fest in early October.
More than 1000 community residents, businesspeople and leaders are expected to attend the two-day event. There will be a fresh Maine lobster and steak dinner followed by silent and live auctions and two days of golf.
Businesses that donate items to fundraising auctions like this usually put their Logo Design somewhere on the item and use the expense as part of their advertising campaigns.
Proceeds from the event will go to Chamber programs.
The dinner will take place Thursday, October 3rd from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Lone Star Convention Center, 9055 Airport Road. Individual dinner tickets are $100 for members and $150 for non-members. Tables seating 10 cost $850 for members and $1250 for non-members.
The golf tournament will take place at Panorama Golf Club, 73 Greenbriar Drive on Thursday, October 3rd and the next morning October 4th. Both will have shotgun starts. Registration for golf foursomes will be $750 for members and $850 for non-members and will include giveaways, breakfast, lunch, putting green and driving range privileges.
Eagle at the $2000 level, Birdie, Golf Beverage and Golf Snack sponsorships at the $1250 level and hole sponsorships at the $500 are still available.
