The Axix Group, a business that teaches marketing, media and metrics, will be presenting a workshop later this month.
Communication styles will be the focus. The purpose of the event is to help the business person improve communication (including listening skills), build stronger relationships, and close more sales. The event will be free to Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce members, with a small admission fee for non-members.
Past psychological studies have shown that we all have different communication styles. This workshop will focus on the main ones and how to make conversations easier and more effective. Subsequently, relationships can be built more quickly, as can business opportunities that lead to closing more sales.
Four main communication styles will be covered. The presentation will help the attendees understand and how to use their own communication strengths. It will conclude with a section on how to modify one’s style to successfully interact with other styles.
Everyone will want remember to bring their digital Business Cards to exchange information with other attendees. Those who have regular business cards will want to get them updated and have some business card printing done before the event.
The workshop will be held Thursday, July 21 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce Office, 505 W. Davis Street in Conroe.
