Starting next week, The Woodlands Township will be hosting free concerts at scenic Lake Woodlands in The Woodlands on Thursdays through July and August. Music lovers here in Conroe will be heading out to the two-hour concerts, which will be part of the concert series called Rock the Row.
Local bands and some from around the region will be performing a plethora of music genres from Motown and pop, to classic rock.
The series will begin July 11 with the country band The Powell Brothers. Brenda Guy, The One Woman Show, will be a soul performance on the July 18, and variety group The Blue Grooves will be the featured act on July 25.
Next month’s lineup will begin with Nervous Rex – another variety artist – on the August 1. Classic Rock band The Nailers will entertain on August 8 and Flashpoint will be the final performers for the series on August 15.
