Annual local festival returns to Conroe

Thanks to the Friend of Conroe, the 34th Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival will be coming to the heart of downtown Conroe in the next few days.

A wealth of musical acts will be on show at the festival. These include Will Carter Band, Coffey Anderson, and Randall King on Friday, as well as Tyler Trantham, Texas Flood Band Whitey Morgan and The 78’s, and Blackberry Smoke on Saturday on the Texas Stage.

Fans often go to their favorite band’s website and buy Promotional Products like tees, hats and headbands beforehand to show support for their favorite artists.

The festival will also feature arts and crafts vendors, educational and community exhibits, and the annual Catfish Pageant, with its usual six female and three male divisions.

General admission tickets are available online for $15 for one day or $30 for weekend passes. General admission at the gates will be $20 per day.

The Catfish Festival will take place Friday, from 6:00pm to midnight, Saturday from 11:00am to midnight and Sunday from Noon to 6:00pm. Armbands will cost $25 on Thursday, $30 on Friday, and $35 on Saturday and Sunday. The carnival will be open from 6:00pm until 11:00pm on Friday, and all day on Saturday from 11:00am until 11:00pm

The Catfish Festival will run from Friday, October 13th to Sunday, October 15th.
