Four Conroe fall activities have been scheduled for October and November.
Halloween events coming toward the end of October include Halloween in the Park, Movie in the Park, and Pumpkin Bobbing. The 2021 Turkey Trot, a chip-timed 5K run, will take place toward the end of November.
From 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm on October 23, Carl Barton, Jr. Park, 2500 South Loop 336 East will have Halloween in the Park with carnival games, concessions, inflatables, and face painting. Everyone is advised to bring their own trick-or-treat Bags for candy.
That evening around 7:00 pm, guests will be toting their blankets and chairs to the little league baseball field for the Free Movie in the Park. This year’s film will be Monsters University.
The Aquatics Center will hold its annual Pumpkin Bob on Friday, October 29 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Games and activities will take place around the pool and children will splash in the pool to find their pumpkins.
The 2021 Turkey Trot will accommodate all fitness levels. Registration is $20 until November 1 when the price goes up to $25. T-Shirts sporting the Turkey Trot graphic design are guaranteed to those who register before November 1.
Along with the T-shirts, other perks include water, snacks, and coffee. The top three finishers in each age/gender category will receive medals.
Check-in for the 5K will begin at 8:00 am, and the race will start at 9:00 am on November 20 at Carl Barton Jr. Park.
