This June an upcoming art workshop in Murfreesboro will give participants the opportunity to create abstract acrylic pieces using paint-pouring techniques instead of traditional brushwork.

Attendees will receive two 12-by-12-inch canvases as part of the experience and will be able to select four paint shades to design their projects. Instructors will demonstrate the pouring process and assist guests throughout the session as they layer and manipulate color combinations to produce unique patterns and textures.

Admission is priced at $46 per person and includes both canvases and art materials. Organizers note that participation costs must be paid in advance to secure seating. Refunds are available for cancellations made more than one day before the event begins, while later cancellations qualify for studio credit. Participants who fail to attend without notice are not eligible for reimbursement or credit.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to settle in before the event begins. Outside beverages and snacks are permitted, and attendees who are 21 or older may bring wine or other alcoholic drinks. Bottle openers and cups will be available, though guests are asked to supply their own ice. Event staff also stated that younger children and non-participating observers will not be admitted during the session.
