A hospital in Murfreesboro will be hosting a drive to collect baby-raising supplies next month.
The Baby Basics Collection Drive, hosted by Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, has been announced by the United Way of South Central Tennessee (UWSCTN). Flyer printing is often used to spread the word of initiatives like this.
By giving them the necessities each family requires, Baby Basics aims to provide parents and infants with a solid start. The objective is to link parents with essential services and support in their neighborhoods while also easing the monetary challenges families with new babies face. Diapers, bottles, blankets, wipes, and onesies are among the new baby supplies UWSCTN is gathering for infants ranging in age from newborn to six months.
Following collection, the materials are processed and given to neighborhood groups, which will decide to which households they should be allocated.
Through Baby Basics, the community has several chances to become engaged and contribute significantly. Serving as a volunteer is one method of helping. On the days of the drive, volunteers are required at the Patterson Park Community Center to help with item distribution and collection. Anybody who wants to volunteer can register on the organization's official website. Donating is an additional method of assistance. A $30 donation will provide a new parent with a bag of necessities.
The Baby Basics Collection Drive will be held at the Patterson Park Community Center in Murfreesboro on February 19 and 20.
