Residents of Murfreesboro and the surrounding area will soon have the opportunity to sample some great chicken wings at no cost.
Franklin’s Fruit Tea has announced its sponsorship of the 4th Annual Murfreesboro Hot Chicken Festival, to be held in late July. This is a friendly competition between some of the best food artisans in the area. Everyone will receive one wing from each competing cook and will certainly need a cool drink afterwards.
It’s all in fun, but these cooks will be competing for various awards such as Hottest of the Hot, Best in the BORO, People’s Choice, and Most Creative. Attendees can even participate in the judging process by purchasing a People’s Choice Judge Ticket for $35, which will be available beginning June 29.
All visitors get to submit a vote for the People’s Choice award. A number of vendors will be on hand; games and other Forms of entertainment will be available as well. Fun is included in each bite, so there’s something in it for everyone. Perhaps best of all, admission is free for all.
Print shops can provide banner printing or similar services for sponsors of events such as this. This culinary contest will be held on Saturday, July 26, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The location is the historic downtown square in Murfreesboro. Vendors are encouraged to secure their spots by applying on the Market Spread website.
