Tennessee LitCon will be taking place in Kingsport this September, looking to celebrate literature of all kinds from the Volunteer State.
The event will feature authors from throughout the state taking part in readings, panels, meet-and-greets and more. Participating authors include Holly Renee, S. J. Tilly and Pam Godwin. There will be over 100 authors and five “narrators” reading others’ stories, in addition to 20 other vendors offering Books and literary-related items.
LitCon will include a show floor that will be open all day, in addition to panels and general admission events each evening. VIP ticket holders can receive early access to the show, a special Friday night “PJ Party” with storytelling from the participating narrators, and the final event of the weekend, a “Celestial Dreams Farewell Party.” Attendees are encouraged to wear appropriately themed gear or cosplay.
This will be the second year for the convention, and the first two-day edition of Tennessee LitCon. Events like this often feature authors from all walks of life, from conventional publishing to self-publishing using printing services. Sponsors and vendors include Little Wicked Book Box and Kensington Publishing.
The 2026 edition of Tennessee LitCon will take place at MeadowView Conference Resort & Convention Centre in Kingsport on September 25 and 26. All attendees must be 18 years or older, and author lineup is subject to change.Get a Free Quote for Books
