The annual Wing Fling event will be returning to Kingsport this November, offering the opportunity to sample wings and other food from the Tri-Cities region.
The Fling will feature grillers and vendors from Kingsport and surrounding areas. Featured vendors include Barrelhouse BBQ Smokehouse, Delta Blues BBQ, and the Oak & Anchor Grill. A ticket purchase will include at least one wing from each of the vendors, along with sides like vegetables, tea, and ranch dressing. Other food items, including hot dogs, will be available for purchase, along with beer and seltzer.
A panel of judges consisting of local first responders will determine awards across a variety of categories. Visitors can vote for their favorite to win the People’s Choice Awards. Food influencer ZachBites will also present his own award for his favorite flavor. A DJ will be spinning music throughout the event.
This will be the 8th edition of the Wing Fling, which is hosted in conjunction with a number of local organizations. Food events like this often use poster printing and local partnerships to help bring the community together. A Battle of the Badges event will also see members of different first responder organizations compete against each other.
The 2026 Wing Fling event will be held on Thursday, November 5 at the Kingsport Farmers Market, running from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
