Second generation talent to visit Greenville

A performer following in their parent’s footsteps is bringing their show to Greenville next month.

Matteo Bocelli is a singer, much like his internationally known father, Andrea Bocelli. He initially released music alongside his dad, as well as going solo at a few select events. However, this tour serves as Bocelli’s first longer run in his solo career.

Bocelli has an older brother and younger half-sister. As a child, he learned piano through lessons. His father didn’t work with him on learning about music initially while he was growing up, allowing Bocelli to grow and develop his talent without feeling like he was being pushed into following the same path.

In terms of musical style, Bocelli is a tenor who has previously been heard performing in the classical realm like his father, but is working to create and discover his unique sound.

In his discography are tracks like “Fall On Me” (featuring Andrea Bocelli), “Anime Imperfette,” “If I Knew” (with Sofia Carson), “Tempo,” “For You,” and “Quella Sbagliata.”

The Matteo Bocelli Tour will use the Peace Center Concert Hall for the Greenville concert. Tickets are sold via the Peace Center website. The options available at the time of writing start at $45 and go up to $65. Artists often hire printing services to put their Logo Design on merchandise to sell to the crowds at their performances.

The show will start at 7:30pm on March 19.
