An event in Greenville will be starting off May with an appearance from an established performer.
Ben Folds is traveling to the area to put on a show featuring selections from his extensive catalog. As a composer, singer, and songwriter Folds has earned recognition for his band “Ben Folds Five,” collaborations, solo records, and work he has done for films, television, and theater productions. Folds also hosts a podcast and has written a book.
Included in his discography are tracks like “You Don’t Know Me” (featuring Regina Spektor), “Still” (from the film “Over the Hedge”), “Gracie,” “Exhausting Lover,” “Adelaide,” “Back To Anonymous,” “Still Fighting It,” and “Effington.”
Tickets are sold through AXS Marketplace, with the show’s page accessible through Greenville Online. Prices for the tickets which are available at the time of writing start at $83.74 and go up to $692.62. These tickets are resale, meaning the original buyer is selling them again.
The venue for the concert is Greenville’s Peace Center. Many touring performers will hire a graphic design company to create artwork that will be printed on various merchandise items. These products will often be sold at a booth or table somewhere within the venue for concertgoers to have a souvenir to remember the night by. The show will start at 8:00pm on May 1st.
