Greenville residents prepare for annual German festival

Greenville has announced that Oktoberfest will be returning in a matter of weeks, and a fair amount of interest has already been generated. Similar to previous years, this family-friendly festival is open to all ages.

NOMA Oktoberfest 2026 has become a respected tradition throughout the Greenville community. This year's celebration will be featuring a kaleidoscope of German-themed attractions. Some examples include on-site food vendors, alcoholic beverages for those of legal drinking age, and activities specifically designed for children.

Organizers have confirmed a host of additional activities. Live music will be performed by Abbey Elmore, and Will Matic. Guests can choose to participate in a contest to determine who can eat the most bratwurst. There will also be a stein-holding competition taking place before this two-day festival concludes.

Events associated with cultural overtones will frequently use marketing techniques that reflect this unique approach. For example, advertisers may work with brochure printing companies capable of producing German-themed imagery. Other proven strategies include placing Flyers within community centers, creating a volunteer workforce that will distribute pamphlets containing contact information, and overseeing time-sensitive social media pages.

NOMA Oktoberfest 2026 will be celebrated on Friday, October 2nd, and Saturday, October 3rd. Doors open at 12 PM each day. This event is taking place within NOMA Square located at 216 North Main Street. There is no charge to attend, and reservations are not needed.
