People looking for a fun way to get outside and stay active this summer will want to save the date, as a 5K fun run is in the works in Greenville.
The 5K Beer Run, part of the South Carolina Brewery Running Series, has opened registration for what should be a memorable way to spend time outside with friends, family, and like-minded individuals. The event is open to interested parties of all ages and experience levels, and participants are welcome to run, jog, or walk to the finish line.
The course will cover nearly five kilometers and will follow the Swamp Rabbit Trail, helping guests discover the best that Greenville has to offer. Individuals who sign up to participate will receive a complimentary collector’s glass to commemorate the run. Upon crossing the finish line, participants will also receive their choice of craft beverage from the run’s host brewery. The run is aiming to raise money to support local non-profit organizations, with over $500,000 raised since the inception of the running series.
Pangaea Brewing in Greenville will be the start and ending point of the 5K run, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 7 at 10:30 AM. Registration is $41.83 per person and is open online.
