Regional headquarter of Park Sterling to relocate to Greenville

Sterling Bank, based in Charlotte, recently announced that it will be opening its headquarters for the region in downtown Greenville by the end of the year.

No doubt the bank is turning to services like flyer printing to inform those who use the more than 25 branch locations of this move, which is parts of the strategic plans of the bank to expand in the Upstate area.

The new location will be at 617 East McBee Avenue and will be 15,000 square feet in size. According to the President of Park Sterling Upstate South Carolina, Dixon Harrill, the space will be completely renovated on the interior and will be subject to a makeover for the exterior, including new landscaping.

Treasury services, commercial bankers, special assets, wealth management, mortgage operations, asset-based lending, and loan review teams will be housed in the new location. There will also be a retail branch. Harrill added that the other two branches in Greenville will not be closed, but employees from the affected Greenville branches will fill the positions at the new location.

Harrill commented that the move will help the bank to be more efficient and make high quality comprehensive banking services available in the state. The community, he hopes, will have better knowledge of the bank and so it will be able to do a better job.
