Popular music festival set to return this April

The Albino Spring Skunk Music Festival is taking place in nearby Greer for three days in April.

The festival is also held in April and October, although the one planned for October of last year was cancelled due to COVID restrictions. It originally started as a purely bluegrass festival, but over the years it has grown to include roots music, country and acoustic, along with Bluegrass.

Among those who have appeared at past festivals are Lake Street Drive, Bruce Hampton, Chatham Rabbits, and The Hillbenders. The event allows fans to discover some of the more traditional Forms of music and find a new band to follow.

In addition to music, there will be food concessions, craft beer, and arts and crafts vendors. Since many festivalgoers will be bringing their children, a Kiddieland is set up and it features children's entertainers, outdoor movies, and a playground. Camping is also available on the festival grounds.

Music fans from all over the area, including Greenville, will no doubt want to know about this festival. To spread the word, local Stationery printers often provide Print advertising that can be inexpensively distributed.

The music festival will take place at Skunk Farm in Greer from April 8 to 11. For more information about this event and to find out about this year's schedule, call 864-416-4515.
