A new date has been set for the popular festival that celebrates two Mexican culinary staples: tacos and tequila.
The Tacos N' Tequila Festival was originally scheduled for earlier this year, but is now set for June. The festival features a plethora of tacos and tequila, with chef contests and bartender contests, live music, prizes and games.
There is a new twist to this year's event. Guests used to receive tokens for drinks on arrival. This year there will be an open bar which is hoped will make everything flow much smoother and easier.
Restaurant and bar owners are encouraged to join the festival and face-off their best dishes and cocktails against other Greenville businesses.
Advance tickets are $55, or $65 at the door. Designated driver tickets are available for $40. VIP tickets are $75 and enable holders to avoid lineups and gives them exclusive access to the vendors earlier in the day. All attendees must bring proof of age of 21 years and older.
