A star with skills in several fields is heading to Greenville as a part of their tour in early August.
Idina Menzel is a singer, actress, author, Broadway star, and songwriter. Among her iconic roles are Elsa in Disney’s “Frozen” franchise and Elphaba from “Wicked.” Menzel has won an Oscar, Tony, and a Grammy, in addition to many other awards. She has worked with her sister Cara to release a pair of picture Books about self love called “Loud Mouse” and “Proud Mouse.” Menzel will also be returning to the Broadway scene next year, as a part of the show “Redwood.”
Among her discography are hits like “Let It Go” (from “Frozen”), “Defying Gravity” (from “Wicked”), “Royalty,” “Like Lightning,” “Beast,” “The Loud Mouse Song,” “Into The Unknown” (with AURORA, from “Frozen II”), and “Queen of Swords.”
The Take Me Or Leave Me Tour’s local stop will be in the Peace Concert Hall. Tickets are available directly through the venue on its website. The price range for all options goes from $65 to $325. The tour comes on the heels of the release of Menzel’s latest album “Drama Queen.” Many performers will sell merchandise to the audience at their events, which will have the Logo Design of either the tour or the artist’s most recent work on it. The concert is set to kick off at 7:30pm on August 7th.
