Local team holds Drive for summer activity deal

The second Playcation package of the Greenville Drive for 2014 starts this week as part of the area’s celebration of the July 4 holiday.

Following on from the success of the team’s first sellout event on June 4, another event has been scheduled and promoters of the package are most likely using flyer printing to inform people and generate enthusiasm for this second offering.

According to Eric Jarinko, Drive General Manager, the package includes four tickets to the game the team is playing tomorrow against the Asheville Tourists, which gets underway at 7:05 pm. Also part of the deal are four passes to the Greenville Zoo, the Upstate Children’s Museum, and Greenville County Rec Waterparks and Pavilion.

The team has worked with its partners to create a bundle of activities that are affordable and offer plenty of fun for fans. The passes for the Upstate attractions can be used throughout the summer until September 1.

The Director of Marketing and Sales for the museum, Lisa Libertore, commented that it has been important for everyone involved to create this opportunity to have some family fun. Meanwhile, Jeff Bullock, who is Zoo Administrator for the Greenville Zoo, commented that it has made the zoo proud to be able to work with the other events and attractions to provide good value activities for local families throughout the summer.
