The Corvette has long been a popular “made in America” vehicle, and it will be taking pride of place during a Greenville event planned by a local car club.
Ridge Runner Corvettes has set the date for its Car Show, and the charity of choice for the occasion will be one that helps to supply trained service dogs to veterans in need of some additional support. While it will be focused on Corvettes, all makes and models are welcome, and as the organizers help to raise as much as possible for the cause, they hope for as many vehicles as possible to register.
The fee to register a vehicle for the show is $25, and as a block of rooms at Embassy Suites and Golf Resort and Conference Center has been reserved, those who wish to stay for the entire weekend can do so at a discount rate. The Southeast Gassers Association’s Patriot Car will be back, and raffles, a silent auction, and a food and drink station are all in the works as well. Trophies will be presented to the top entries, and an even split draw will be held.
To maximize the funds raised, the organizers explained that they are selling tees printed with a special graphic design, although only a limited quantity is available.
The 2022 Ridge Runner Corvettes autumn car show will be held on October 1. It will be staged at 670 Verde Boulevard in Greenville.
