Springtime in Greenville means it is time for an outing that will offer families a chance to spot some of the area's newest wild residents.
Conestee Nature Preserve will be showing moms lots of love by hosting a wild celebration. Members of the public are invited to bring their mother, grandma, aunt, or another important woman in their life, and the activity will be held outdoors.
The group will be led on an excursion along the trails at the preserve, and the guide will point out various species of flora and fauna as they go. They will learn how the animals that call the location home raise a family, and with a little bit of luck, they may even be able to spot some of these babies. Tips for observing wildlife ethically will be shared, and before they head for home, the attendees will be treated to a light breakfast and crafting session.
An alternative to the typical Mother's Day brunch can be a welcome change for many families. A company that prepares personalized corporate gifts can craft a memento to give to each mom who attends a celebration.
