Greenville is home to South Carolinas first Lego Store

Haywood Mall is home to the state’s first Lego Store, which opened just in time for the holiday shopping season and the mall’s holiday kickoff.

The Lego Company has almost 100 Lego Stores across the United States, with the states on either side of South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia, each having three. Until the opening of the Greenville Lego store, enthusiast of the building blocks had to travel to Atlanta, Georgia or Charlotte, North Carolina to visit a Lego Store.

Haywood Mall Marketing Director Brandi Crowe, speaking for the mall, said there was considerable excitement over the inclusion of a Lego store. Malls often promote a new addition with a variety of marketing tools, including flyer printing supplied by Print shops.

The Lego Store is inside the mall near the center court and the spot where Santa Claus is based throughout the holiday season. Lego will have no direct access to the outside of the mall.

The Lego Company has included one of its most popular options the ‘Pick & Build Wall’, which allows customers to buy in bulk specific bricks and miscellaneous items in various colors and shapes.

Patrons visiting the new store will find an interactive play area as well as the complete history shown via displays around the whole store, revealing the Lego story.
