An event next month is providing Greenville residents with a chance to embrace their creative side while learning and socializing with fellow community members.
Disco Fever is an art workshop from MrsTFox Resources. Run by Tiffany Fox, a teacher and designer for art curriculum, the activity is a perfect way to pick up a new skill, or refresh an existing one.
Mrs. Fox will share her knowledge of acrylic paints, including how to blend in transitions between colors, how to combine colors to make a new one, and using color theory to make the best looking works.
Participants will be able to create a painting of a colorful disco ball, with each one having a unique combination of colors. All materials are included in the ticket cost of $49.87 including fees from EventBrite.
The class is open to those who are 12 or older. Due to the depth of the lesson, the size of the group is capped at 12 people. This makes the experience a good step for people that may be overwhelmed by larger crowds. The venue is Greenville’s Socialight Club. Many art lessons are advertised with the use of flyer printing, The creative experience is being held on August 6th. The timeframe for the lesson is 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
