Greenville home to first SC office for placement firm

Webber Kerr Associates LLC, an executive search and consulting firm with offices in Florida and New York, recently announced that it will be opening an office in downtown Greenville.

According to Emily Wagner, Partner and Managing Director at Webber Kerr, the company already partners with clients in the area and selected Greenville for a new office location due to the growth anticipated in the region.

In a press release published at GSABusiness.com, Wagner added both large, multinational firms and those backed by private equity are the primary partners of the company, and numerous businesses from both ends of the spectrum are located in the Upstate region. Since oil and energy, engineering, banking and manufacturing are the most active sectors in the industry, she went on to say that their strong presence in the Carolinas justifies the decision.

Adam Lloyd, President of Webber Kerr, commented that sectors related to the dealings of the company have all experienced increasing growth in the Carolinas. He adds that having an office in Greenville is “the logical choice” so that it can be close to the types of industries it supports based on the nature of its business.

Flyer printing is one way the company can get the word out to people looking for the marketing, sales, human resources, and general management positions Webber Kerr is looking to fill in the region.
