Greenville Master Gardeners give back to their community in a variety of ways, and one of these is set to make its return this April.
The organization has made plans for the return of its annual Plant Sale. While it will be held outdoors, the various tables and booths will all be under cover, allowing the function to take place rain or shine.
The event, which will raise funds to support a variety of initiatives undertaken by the Master Gardening program, will include species and cultivars ranging from grasses and herbs to perennials and even veggie starts. Trees, shrubs, ground covers, and vines will be in the mix as well, and there will be an emphasis on native plants. A special table just for the rare plant collector will be set up, and garden-related craft and supplies will be on offer. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and help the shoppers make their selections.
Plant sales are often popular, and a printer will be able to help make them even better. It can supply promotional pens paired with checklists of the various plants on offer, as well as items such as cloth totes printed with the host organization’s Logo Design.
This chance for the gardening public to score both new plants and some helpful advice will be held on April 30 from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. The venue for the occasion can be found at 27 Roper Mountain Road.
