Greenville evening to bring hope to families

Families with a child who is critically ill or injured can count on finding compassion and respite at a Greenville venue, and a special event will recognize its efforts.

Ronald McDonald House has a long history of providing families with a home away from home when their child is in hospital. In mid-November, it will be offering the public an opportunity to be part of its luminary ceremony and other festivities. It will be all about bringing hope to the community, and everyone is welcome.

The Lights of Love event will see dozens of gently lit luminaires on display, and these will be lit by families, community members, and others. These may be ordered ahead of time, and after the ceremony, guests can enjoy treats and tours of the building. The monies raised through the sale of the luminary Bags will be used to help meet the expenses of offering families a place to stay.

After the event, the luminaries may be taken home so they can continue to shine a light of hope. A poster printing company can prepare a wide selection of marketing materials for almost any occasion.

The Lights of Love celebration will begin at 5:30 pm on November 18 at 706 Grove Road. The luminaries may be ordered now, and the cost will depend upon how many are reserved.
