Greenville cookery class to teach nifty noodles

Greenville fans of Italian-style food may want to make sure their name is on the list of attendees for an upcoming cookery class.

Pasta is a popular dish that comes in a wide variety of styles, and it may be served on its own or with a sauce. The Cook’s Station class, which will be led by Chef Tazia , will teach the basics of preparing noodles in the home kitchen, and it will include hands-on learning.

The facilitator will walk the group through the steps of pasta making, including choosing ingredients, making the dough and kneading it so it is ready for use. Everyone will make their own batch to take away, and the participants will even be able to enjoy samples before they head for home. The use of a pasta machine is included, and wine may be purchased on site.

Culinary classes can be a lot of fun for those who take part, and organizers often choose to hand out cards printed with the recipe taught. These can be prepared by a flyer printing company, which can even laminate them so they will be easy to wipe clean in case of kitchen spills.

The Cook’s Station, which is located at 515 Buncombe Street, will be offering this in person workshop on Tuesday, February 28. It is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm.
