Greenville becomes latest home of worldwide financial institution

Chase, the commercial and consumer banking division of JP Morgan Chase & Co., recently opened a commercial banking office in downtown Greenville.

This is the first location for the bank in South Carolina, which plans to open eight more such banks across the country.

According to region manager for the Carolinas, Craig May, this office in Greenville is important to serving the Carolinas as the prospects for growth in the region are strong and the bank wants to bring its local talent, experience in the market, and global reach to support middle-market companies in both North and South Carolina.

The Greenville office will be led by John Henry, who joined the bank in 2015 to help with its expansion in the Carolinas. The Upstate, Spartanburg, and Greenville are the fastest growing areas in the state, Henry commented, and this is an opportunity for the bank to be part of this area and grow along with it.

Companies with between $20m and $500m in annual revenue will be the target market for the bank, and the office in Greenville will cover all of South Carolina for Chase.

Henry could look to a local Print company to print Flyers that could be distributed to these types of companies with an outline of the services the bank will provide as a commercial institution.
