Greenville area to be offered introduction to vegan fare
A Greenville area community wants to showcase how tasty it can be to go meat free, and to help get everyone excited about the prospect, it has planned an event for its downtown core.
Downtown Travelers Rest will be welcoming the world for its plant-based food tour, which will put the talents of its food service community front and center. It will be a casual occasion, with everyone strolling and getting to know other local foodies.
The restaurants and other eateries that participate will have plant-based dishes on the menu, and everyone can go from stop to stop on the tour, watching for any shops that catch their eye along the way. The ticket price includes the food that will be served at each of the locations visited, and part way through the outing, the group will be invited to try its hand at some special activities. Anyone with allergies or mobility restrictions is asked to indicate this to the organizers ahead of time.
Food tours are a popular activity in many cities during the summer months, and they introduce local residents to the eateries in their hometown. A brochure printing company can supply materials that offer more details about each of the stops on a culinary or other tour.
Downtown Travelers Rest will be offering living proof of just how tasty vegan food can be on August 13. Tickets are $65 each, and the tour starts at 11:00 am.
