There is something special about being able to pick a fresh bouquet of flowers, and a Greenville area farm is about to offer this experience to its visitors.
Sassafras Flower Farm grows a variety of species, and starting in May, it will be hosting Thursday night u-pick events. Entry tickets are $18.00 for a three hour visit, and they are on offer now.
Those who visit the venue will be treated to views of the sunset over Paris Mountain, and live music will help to create a festive and welcoming atmosphere. Once they have checked in at the Pavilion, ticketholders can stroll through the beds. Everyone will need to bring small pruners and a container for their flowers. Food and beverage vendors will be on hand, and everyone should dress for the weather and wear comfortable and sturdy footwear.
Opening an agricultural operation to the public may benefit both the farm and visitors alike. Print shops can partner with anyone hosting an event to ensure they have the printed items they need to ensure their function will go off as planned.
Sassafras Flower Farm will be opening its gates to the public for its U-pick evenings series starting on May 18 at 5:00 pm. The venue is located at 255 Alex Drive in Easley, and the initiative will continue to take place on the third Thursday of the month until it wraps up in October.
