Brewery 85 to add entertainment space and food truck parking

Brewery 85 has, over the last five years, worked its way into taprooms, restaurants, and stores across South Carolina, and now plans a different type of expansion at home here in Greenville.

The existing Orchard 85 is little more than an open field located adjacent to the brewery parking lot, but Will McCameron, Brewery 85 owner, has plans to turn it into a rentable entertainment center.

The brewery has grown its business and distributes to the Columbia area, plus Spartanburg and Anderson as well as Greenville. Brewery 85 has now got its eye on growing its North Carolina and Georgia market shares.

The Orchard 85 space will retain its name following its makeover to an 8,000-square-foot event space. Once finished, the space will be available for rent for weddings and corporate events and will be fitted out with Wi-Fi and a projection screen.

Between rentals, the entertainment space will serve as overflow space for taproom customers. Improvements are already underway for the current taproom. The new space will also be used for a variety of sports viewing parties, as well as other events the brewery may host.

Getting a new entertainment and event center off the ground depends on a heavy marketing strategy that is generally dependent on brochure and flyer printing.

The brewery is no stranger to hosting events with its previous experience including wrestling matches, comedy nights, viewing parties, and farmer’s markets.
