Quakertown to host Christmas tree celebration

Quakertown will host its annual Christmas Tree Lighting event at the beginning of December for residents to celebrate the holiday season.

Attendees can enjoy cookies and a mug of hot chocolate while browsing a selection of vendor tables. These include a variety of local businesses, providing an opportunity to do some gift shopping. Vendors at this type of event often use banner printing services to promote their businesses.

The celebration will be hosted by Quakertown Alive, a non-profit community development group dedicated to creating and maintaining a vibrant downtown for the community to enjoy.

The highlight of the event will be the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus in a Quakertown fire truck. The tree lights will also be illuminated at that time, creating a beautiful and festive atmosphere. Additional entertainment throughout the evening will be provided by Olde Towne Carolers, a group that sings a mix of modern and traditional Christmas carols while dressed in unique Victorian costumes. Other special guests will include alpacas from the local Harley Hill Farm.

This local tradition is a great way for Quakertown residents to gather and celebrate the holiday season. The Tree Lighting celebration will take place in downtown Quakertown on Friday, December 3, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. It is free to attend. Additional information and updates can be found on the Quakertown Alive website.
