Quakertown to hold fiber optics training event

Next month, the Optic Power Ground Wire Training course is scheduled to be hosted in Quakertown.

The Fiber School is the creator and host of the extensive training program. The organization regularly provides remote and in-person events that center on technical training topics.

This five-day training course is suitable for individuals who already possess knowledge and experience with fusion splicing, cables, test equipment, network systems and applications, and fiber optic theory.

To sign up for the program, those who are interested can register online at $5,000. For an additional $150, students can obtain a professional certificate as proof that they are qualified technicians who understand how to perform fiber optic services and installations safely and effectively.

Lectures that the Quakertown course includes will focus on a detailed explanation of procedures and hardware involved with the installation of OPGW fiber optics, how to test equipment and tools, splicing, and network troubleshooting. The program will also include Labs practice and exams that students must pass in order to qualify for official certification. The organizers of similar training events frequently prepare course handouts at Print shops to ensure that every participants has access to important study materials.

This comprehensive training program is set to begin on Monday, March 22 and will continue through Friday, March 6. Each day of the course will take place between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
