Quakertown borough is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt for residents and visitors from nearby municipalities this April.
This is a free event designed for children of all ages and their families. The celebration will kick off with the arrival of the Easter Bunny, who will be available for photos.
Since the hunt is a race to find the eggs, children will be separated by age group. The festivities will start with special needs children at 10:00 am, followed by ages three and under at 10:20, ages four to six at 10:30, and seven and up at 10:40. Eggs will contain a variety of child-friendly prizes, including candy, stickers, toys, and coupons. In addition to the egg hunt, community groups and local organizations will offer face painting, games, crafts, and other entertainment throughout the morning. Treats and beverages will also be available for attendees.
The Quakertown Parks and Recreation Department is running the event, and it will be purchasing 15,000 plastic eggs for the hunt. The department is currently accepting donations to support this purchase, with sponsorship credit available for local organizations. The fundraising goal is $3,000. Sponsoring organizations often provide Promotional Products to advertise at this type of event.
The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 9, at the Quakertown soccer fields.
