The ongoing Concerts in the Park event is set to continue throughout the summer in Quakertown.
For 33 years, the Concerts in the Park event has entertained locals and visitors from surrounding areas with live performances by a diverse number of musician bands. Each concert occurs on a Sunday and draws anywhere from hundreds to over 1,000 visitors at a time.
All concerts are family friendly so that everyone of all ages can enjoy for free. Attendees are welcome to bring their blankets or chairs and choose a place on the lawn to watch a concert. Guests have the options of bringing their own food or buying something to eat from the concession stand.
The first concert of July will feature Barefoot Bobby and the Breakers, who will perform their own versions of country and rock songs. The next two concerts will feature the Dueling Pianos followed by the Reservoir Hill Band. Event organizers can advertise concert lists and schedules to Quakertown locals through the use of poster printing.
Next month’s concerts are scheduled to take place at the Univest Performance Center on Sunday, July 12; Sunday, July 19; and Sunday, July 26 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on all three days. In case of rain, a Sunday concert will instead take place on Monday evening the following day.
