Nighttime photography workshop to be hosted near Quakertown

The Lehigh Valley Photography Group will present the Into the Night Photography Workshop this April.

The workshop is ideal for photographers who are new to low-light photography. All individuals are recommended to possess at least a basic understanding of cameras in order to participate. Tickets to the class are available for $89.95 per student.

Participants are asked to bring their own cameras, respective camera manuals, and a tripod to the workshop. Each person must also wear masks and keep a distance of six feet between one another at all times.

For this evening workshop, participants will follow instructor Ryan Fisher, who is an Olympus brand ambassador and admin of the Lehigh Photography Group. The event will take place entirely outdoors and students from Quakertown will learn about what camera settings are appropriate at sunset and sunrise, how to shoot photos of light trails, and how to photograph with proper exposure. Participants will also be able to photograph areas of the SteelStacks and learn more about the history of the steel plant. Brochure printing is preferred by the organizers of similar events to ensure that participants have access to printouts that detail event information.

The Into the Night Photography Workshop is scheduled to take place from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Saturday, April 4 at SteelStacks on Founders Way, Bethlehem.
