Mobile blood drive to take place in Quakertown

A blood drive for the Miller-Keystone Blood Center is scheduled to be hosted in downtown Quakertown next month.

Quakertown locals are encouraged to attend this event at the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce (UBCC) office to donate life-saving blood to the Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC). Poster printing is often used by organizers of such events to create brightly colored advertisements that effectively catch the attention of those who are interested in participating.

Since it was first founded in 1971 as a nonprofit organization, the Miller-Keystone Blood Center has been the exclusive blood and plasma provider to more than 20 hospitals in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, St. Luke's University Health Network, Penn State Health, Hunterdon Health System, Grand View Health, Reading Health System, Lehigh Valley Health Network, as well as over a dozen more medical centers in both states.

Locals interested in attending the Quakertown blood drive can register online for a specific time to make a donation at the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce office. Those who sign up for an appointment may opt to receive a text reminder on the day of the event.

This Valentine’s Day blood drive is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 14 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
