The 17th annual Chocolotta is scheduled to return to Quakertown next month.
Since it was founded in 2003, the Chocolotta event has been an efficient fundraiser for a variety of community services centering around financial aid in the area. This includes Kids to Camp, a program that enables low-income families from Quakertown and other areas of Bucks County to send their kids to summer camp.
This year’s Chocolotta will be hosted by the Quakertown branch of YMCA of Bucks County, which is a merger of Upper Bucks YMCA, Lower Bucks Family YMCA, and Central Bucks Family YMCA. The YMCA of Bucks County hosted the successful 2019 Chocolotta and raised about $75,000.
The 2020 Chocolotta will include sophisticated food stations, a wide variety of chocolate desserts, an open bar, and a live silent auction. Poster printing is often used by organizers of such events to create eye-catching advertisements that capture the attention of those who wish to attend.
Those who are interested in participating in the event can register online at $89.99 per person with the option to make an additional donation to the Quakertown YMCA, along with the ticket purchase.
This event is set to take place at the DeSales University campus on Friday, March 20 from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Registration can be completed via the event listing.
