Chamber of commerce to celebrate Celtic Festival

The Upper Bucks County Chamber of Commerce will host the Upper Bucks Celtic Festival this March.

The Chamber, which includes Quakertown and several other municipalities, will partner with the Perkasie Towne Improvement Association to host a community event to celebrate Celtic culture on St. Patrick’s Day weekend. The festival will be free to attend and appropriate for all ages.

Many different types of entertainment will be provided throughout the day. This will include Irish music and other performances on the main stage, along with festive crafts and other fun activities designed for children. There will be several contests to inspire friendly competition, with prizes awarded for categories including best kids’ costume and best Irish soda bread. Attendees will also be able to browse vendors selling a variety of food and various artisan items.

The Chamber asks local businesses and organizations to sponsor the event at several levels of contribution. The highest level sponsorships will include promotional Banners during the festival. Event organizers often use banner printing services to provide this type of benefit. Those interested can visit the Chamber website’s events page for more information.

The festival will take place in downtown Perkasie on Saturday, March 19, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The next day, Sunday, March 20, is the backup date in case of rain.
