Autumn fun at Quakertown market

An afternoon of activities will take place as part of the Fall Festival at the Quakertown Farmers Market in late September.

These different crafts and other items will mainly be aimed at kids. Some will be “grab and go” types of Promotional Products, like craft kits or pumpkin decorating kits, and others are “stay and play” activities, like balloon figures with Tootsee the Clown or the Exotic Animal Display by Peaceable Kingdom.

Gem mining will be available for the children to try as well, thanks to The Lucky Dutchman. Kids will get to choose their pumpkin from a Covid-19 safe version of a patch to take with their decorating kits. Due to the pandemic, materials in either kit, pumpkin or crafting, cannot be shared among attendees who decide to craft onsite.

There will also be a pie baking contest, awarding the title of “Best Apple Pie Baker” to the winner. A DJ will add music to the event, as well as a few giveaways taking place.

This festival will last from 11:00am to 3:00pm, taking place at the same time as the market. Crafts, mining, animal exhibit, and pumpkins will last the whole event, while the pie contest is at 1:00pm and the clown is there from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. The date of the festivities is September 26th. The location is at 201 Station Road.
