Annual art festivities to return to Quakertown

Quakertown will be hosting the annual Arts Alive! Arts and Crafts Festival this spring.

The host of this yearly event is Quakertown Alive!, which has been active since 1998 as an organizer of events that help to support and garner interest in the community’s locally owned businesses, and in the goods and services offered by individuals such as artists and crafters.

The Arts Alive! Arts and Crafts Festival will involve works featured by a wide range of crafters and artists that are available for sale, wine and beer tasting, a food court, activities and games for children, and live entertainment.

Anyone who wishes to showcase a booth for the Quakertown festival can register as a vendor for a fee of $150. For exhibitors who require an electricity source, an additional fee of $15 is required. Vendor applicants must send in a signed form along with five images of their works to Quakertown Alive! by email. When setting up exhibits in preparation for public festivals, business owners at such events often use banner printing as a way to visually enhance the attractiveness of their booths.

The 2021 Arts Alive! Arts and Crafts Festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 15 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. In case of rain, the festival will instead take place the next day on Sunday, May 16.
