Unique sale promises affordable art

The Art for the Cash Poor show and sale is taking place in Philadelphia for two days in just a couple of weeks, presented by InLiquid Art and Design.

The event will feature a block party, live music, and food trucks. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and purchase handmade arts and crafts, and everything on sale will be priced at $199 or less.

Those who cannot wait can attend the Friday Night Preview cocktail party. Proceeds from the event will go to the AIDS Fund and InLiquid. Guests will be treated to cocktails and appetizers. In addition, the first 50 to register will each receive a limited edition Print.

Those who are chosen to sell their arts and crafts at the sale can rent space from $86 to $208 depending on whether they are members of InLiquid or not. Each vendor will have access to a six-foot table and will receive 20 Postcards and/or Flyers to help advertise the event.

Postcard printing companies are often asked to provide their products to artists and art show organizers. Many artists in the Philadelphia area use Postcards as a larger format business card.

The event will be held in the Crane Arts Building from June 8 to 9 from 12:00 noon - 6:00 pm each day. The preview party will take place on June 7 from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm, and tickets are $30 each or $50 for two. Call 215-235-3405 for more information.
