Two of the citys historic areas hosting festivals this fall

Philadelphia is hosting two popular festivals on the first full weekend of next month. Both of these events attract over 20,000 people from all over the surrounding area each year.

The first one will be the Midtown Village Fall Festival. Traffic will be halted on 13th and Chestnut Streets to provide a fun-filled block party for the community. There will be plenty of live musical entertainment on multiple stages, along with food and drink samples and children’s activities. Vendors will also be on hand to sell a variety of arts and crafts.

The next day will feature the 4th annual Old City Fest, during which North 3rd Street and Arch Street will be closed off to traffic. Over 100 area businesses are expected to be on hand including fashion designers, artists, and restaurants. Many local performers will also be performing during the day. Vendor spaces of 10 x 10-feet are available for $150 each.

The organizers of both of these events will likely invest in services such as flyer printing from a local Philadelphia printer.

The Midtown Village Fall Festival will be held on October 7 from 12:00 to 8:00 pm. Call 215-670-4323 to learn more.

The Old City Fest will take place on October 8 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. To find out more or to become a vendor, call 215-592-7929.
