Shark Tank auditions in Philadelphia

Hopeful inventors and entrepreneurs in the Philadelphia area, including Glenside, have an opportunity to pitch their ideas to casting people from the ‘Shark Tank’ television show. Auditions will be held in the city soon.

Those interested in trying out need to complete an extensive application, and bring it to the audition. If their application intrigues the producers, they will be able to perform a live, one-minute pitch to one of the show's casting directors. They should be prepared to pitch just one idea, product, or business to the director, the same way they would pitch if they were on the show itself.

Those considering going to the auditions should note that they are responsible for their parking, and their Bags may be checked by security. In addition, this is an open casting call, so everyone is welcome. As long as applicants arrive at the indicated time, they will receive a wristband, so no one needs to camp all night. There will be time for them to return to their cars for props or equipment but there is no guarantee there will be power, A/V equipment, or internet access.

The auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, June 28, at 9:00 am, at XFINITY Live! on Pattison Avenue. Personnel from the show will distribute numbered wristbands to applicants between 9:00 to 11:00 am that morning, with interviews starting at 11:00 am.
