Philly workshops on offer for future homeowners

Buying a new home can be a nerve-wracking experience at the best of times, but especially for those new to the process. A Philadelphia workshop is hoping to help bring some clarity to the situation, and this free event is open to anyone interested.

The Urban League of Philadelphia has gathered a group of subject matter experts together, and they will each share their knowledge during the program, which will consist of two sessions. Attending both is mandatory for those who wish to take advantage of the Philly First Home Grant initiative.

The presenters will share their experience when it comes to choosing a lender and realtor, as well as the importance of using the services of a home inspector. A home insurance rep will also participate, and the goal is for the group to go home feeling confident that they are ready to purchase their very first home.

Sitting in on this sort of session can be an important step in the process of becoming a home owner, and offering the participants information packages filled with informational materials produce by a brochure printing company can make it easy for them to continue to learn even once a workshop is over.

This chance for potential homeowners to hit the ground running has been scheduled for April 4. It will be offered at 500 South 61Street.
