Philly set to step out for scleroderma

Systemic scleroderma is a rare autoimmune disease that impacts people of almost any age, and an activity that will combine raising funds with increasing awareness of the illness will be held in in Philadelphia.

Philly’s “Stepping Out PA” fundraising event is scheduled for Cooper River Park in early fall. Organized by the National Scleroderma Foundation’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter, individuals, families, and teams of friends and co-workers are all encouraged to slide on their sneakers and join the fun of the event.

The walk has been planned for the morning, and there will be opportunities for the participants to mingle and get to know each other. The goal is to fund support services and ultimately a cure. The venue can be accessed by both Philadelphia and South and Central New Jersey residents, with it only being a short journey from all these areas.

The organizers of the activity have expressed their gratitude for the support shown by its business and other sponsors. Fundraisers often include a sponsorship program that welcomes both financial donations and the contribution of Corporate Gifts in kind, which may be used as raffle or draw prizes.

There 2025 Steeping out Philadelphia PA fundraiser for the National Scleroderma Foundation will take to the trails at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken on September 20. Check-in for the day is set to open at 9:30 am.
