Philly margarita festival to be filled with fun

Philadelphia will soon be raising a glass in a special event that boasts that it will include some of the best margaritas in town.

The Philadelphia Margarita March will celebrate the city’s festive side, and at least eight of the area's top bars will be serving up these popular cocktails. Each will have its own special twist, and they will be paired with food, music, and plenty of fun with friends.

The ticket holders for the occasion will be able to visit each of the bars on the tasting route, and once they present their pass at each stop, they will be served their drink. Each ticket allows the bearer to receive up to eight drinks, as well as food and beverage specials, and pictures will be taken of all the fun. There will be no cover charge to be paid at any of the venues, and a portion of the proceeds from the registration fees will be donated to area charitable causes.
