Philly food trucks to hit the road for summer festival

Philadelphia is a city that loves its food trucks, and an event that will put these mobile vendors front and center will be taking over Burholme Park this summer.

The monies raised through the event will benefit area kids by helping to support NEO Youth Sports FC Soccer, which is a local not-for-profit organization.

This year will mark the 4th anniversary of the NEO FC Food Truck Festival, and as in the past, it can be a great chance to find out what the local community of food truck operators has to offer. Guests can bring along a folding chair or blanket to sit on while they relax and enjoy themselves, and tickets are not required to attend the occasion.

As well as the food vendors, there will be many other activities on the agenda. Crafters and other vendors will be displaying their works, and local businesses will also be participating. Live entertainment will take to the stage, and the youngsters in the crowd will be welcome to enjoy the various offerings that have been included with them in mind.

Any local food trucks or other vendors who would like to add their name to the roster of companies involved in the festival have been asked to contact the organizers to discuss submitting an application. Vehicle wraps, decals ,and other items that can help the businesses that participate in an event like this look their very best can be sourced from an area printing services provider.

The event takes place on August 17.
